At CTS Turbo, we’re proud to announce that our new air intake system for the VW MK7 Golf/GTI and MK7 Golf R is now available! This is the largest intake on the market, making it ideal for tuned vehicles that demand greater airflow.

The factory air scoop works in tandem with our sealed airbox to efficiently channel cold air into the intake system. That air then flows through our 89mm (3.5”) high-flow reusable air filter, which features an inverted cone design for maximum breathing efficiency. From there, the 89mm CNC mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe delivers smooth, uninterrupted airflow directly into the engine, reducing turbulence and improving throttle response.

Every component in this CTS system is carefully engineered to function in harmony, delivering more power and torque across the rev range — all while unleashing an aggressive, motorsport-inspired induction note.

Power Gains:

• Peak power increases of +7.5 kW to +11 kW on an otherwise stock vehicle

  (Equivalent to +10–15 HP)

Tip: We recommend disabling the Soundaktor (factory sound amplifier) to truly appreciate the raw sound of your engine and eliminate unwanted cabin drone.
